A mother is calling for justice after she says her son was beaten to death and left to die in his own home in Claremont. Police say 37-year-old Michael Woody was found unresponsive in his apartment on Nov. 16. He was pronounced brain dead two days later at the hospital. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but Woody’s mother says it was murder. Thea Woody, Michael’s mother, says the 37-year-old recently moved into 1639 Fulton Ave. with his girlfriend. She says she fears a rough patch in their relationship is what may have led to her son’s death.

It sits down in the southeastern corner of the city and was annexed into the capital in 1860 by Napoleon the 3rd. Most Parisians today know the 13th for its enormous Chinatown or its famous animation school Les Gobelins.
