@mehdirhasan Trump would’ve still won in 2016. There wasn’t any real enthusiasm for Clinton in the base – just a lot of influencer noise, the campaign itself was dogshit, and she and her supporters had alienated so many centre left people by Comey’s October surprise that it was already done.
